Description

Vintage NOS General Controls Hydronic Motorized Zone Valve VMOA23LE1 24 Volt Motor.
Motor Cover has Johnson Controls Sticker and a Catalog number inside MAOAO11.
Valve Casting number is 16523B and solder connections 1" Slip x 3/4"C so you can use it with either size plumbing.
3 Wire 24 VAC Operation.
Connections look like you can add a SPDT relay for 2 wire operation -this is up to you.
Terminal Board has Connections for Transformer, Thermostat Common "V", Valve Open "H", and Valve Close "C".
Very impressive mechanism that operates it.
Applied power to bench test and observed the seat open and close as expected so mechanically it is working.
Tested under water line pressure to confirm operation no leaks found and valve opens and full closes.
Wiring diagram inside cover.
Rare and unique by todays standards.
No returns if soldered in.  Remember to remove the mechanism for soldering so as not to melt the seals.
